The Village of Millington Planning Commission is required and regulated by state law. It consists of 9 members.  One of its major duties is the development of the Village’s Master Plan.  In accordance with this plan and the current Zoning Ordinance, the Planning Commission provides recommendations to the Village Council on re-zoning requests and changes to the Zoning Ordinances.  The Planning Commission also has responsibility for reviewing and approving Special Use Permits, and site plans for buildings.

Term Limit:  3 year Terms

Member Qualifications:  Qualified Elector of the Village

Knowledge of Architecture and Landscaping, Building Construction, Land Use Planning, Civil Engineering or Real Estate Development would be an asset.

3 members shall be members of the Village Council.  None of these 3 members shall serve as Chairperson or Vice Chairperson.
