 The Village Clerk’s Office is responsible for keeping a record of all Village Council proceedings.  The Clerk attends all meetings, regular and special, and provides a summary of minutes for each meeting which are presented to the Village Council for approval.
  
   

The Village Clerk’s Office is also responsible for maintaining a record and log of original ordinances and resolutions.  The Village Clerk is also designated as a signatory for all contracts, ordinances, accounts payable and payroll for the Village's operations.

The clerk is also responsible for accountability and transparency of all Village activities such as Citizen’s Guide, Debt Service, Performance Dashboard, Projected Budget and the CVTRS Certification form.
